On other Wednesdays, sign up for The Nuyorican Open Mic at the Loisaida Center hosted by Brian Acosta Arya to perform in a professional studio setting. Signups only occur in person and are limited to 15 guaranteed spots for those who arrive prior to 7pm.
Each Monday, the Nuyorican Bowery Slam is an open-mic-style poetry competition where members of the public can share their skills. Winners are eligible to compete in the Monthly Grand Slam at the Loisaida Center.
