Cubop is an exciting, high-energy ensemble that pays homage to the masters of the Hard Bop era, including Dizzy Gillespie, Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers, and Horace Silver. Blending Afro-Cuban rhythms with the sophistication of Bebop, Cubop celebrates the Latin-infused side of the Blue Note Records catalog of the 1950s and ’60s.

The Imer Santiago Quartet is led by Yamaha Performing Artist, veteran educator, and composer, Imer Santiago on trumpet, flugelhorn, and vocals. The ensemble offers a rich blend of original compositions and fresh takes on Jazz standards and Latin classics, informed by energetic traditional swing, New Orleans soul, and Puerto Rican rhythms.
