Nissen Wagon Works began operation in 1834 and stopped operations in the 1940s. Founded by John Philip Nissen, the company produced many wagons that were used for agricultural and general purposes.

Join us for a festive celebration at 213 Arrow Leaf Dr! Get into the holiday spirit just as the Nissen family did in the 1870s. Create lasting memories with your family by singing along with 'Victorian Voices', decorating the parlor, hearing a classic Christmas tale, and making cookie ornaments.
The property is maintained by the Historic Nissen House, Inc., a non-profit organization focused on the preservation and promotion of the site's history.story_potoo
