Missouri-born frontwoman & songwriter Meg Sampson formed the band in 2018, quickly releasing her first single "Bar in the Divorce" and establishing the Wheelers as a local up-and-comer. Their distinct sound draws on the rich history of country music, combining modern lyrics with traditional melodies.

The PechaKucha format, where a dozen or so presenters are given 20 slides each shown for 20 seconds to reveal their passions, work and inspirations, is now held in over 430 cities around the world.
