Returning this fall, the Botanical Garden landscapes and containers will be transformed with thousands of pumpkins, chrysanthemums, exquisite cabbages, and more. Harvest Blooms opens on September 26.

A site-specific installation created by the artists at Applied Imagination will invite guests to explore the lights, sights, and sounds of the four seasons with a series of vine arches made of natural plant materials. Pass through the lively bright blooms of spring, transition to the warmth and vitality of summer, wander through the rich hues and crisp air of fall and then finally experience the tranquility and serene beauty of winter.

The Paul Busse Garden Railway features 9 G scale model trains that travel across 1,122 feet of track through themed destinations: Fairytale Land, Wild West Town, European Travels and the animal-centric Who Lives Here. Guests can journey through a miniature world of 51 botanical models made from all-natural plant material, including an enchanted tree hollow, two waterfalls, and a bubbling brook.
