A native of Toulouse, France, Maynard works in a spontaneous style utilizing movement and drawing combined with painted washes of oils on plaster covered canvases. “This is my Nature” is a series where the artist responds to nature in two ways, reflecting what is outside of ourselves and what is inside ourselves.

60SIX presents “Under the Volcano”, Jürgen Trautwein’s thirteenth exhibition at the gallery. The work utilizes antique prints depicting images from frescoes of Pompeii, which the artist pairs with abstract paintings to explore questions of transience and fragmentation.

Minnesota Street Project Foundation and KADIST are pleased to present Character Development, a group exhibition that brings together six video installations, each featuring the artist on-screen in different guises and roles. Calling upon cinematic history through citation, reinterpretation, and critique, the artworks in the exhibition address contemporary social issues ranging from consumer culture to feminism, treating characters—in all their instability—as both structure and strategy.
