Audiences can experience the acclaimed screenplay as a one night only Live Read, reimagined by visionary filmmaker and Film Independent Spirit Award nominee Jane Schoenbrun, and brought to life by Emmy Award winners Gillian Anderson and Hannah Einbinder. The story follows a timid young woman who takes a job with a demanding attorney, setting the stage for an unconventional relationship that transforms both of their lives.

Staged Stories Live! features original work by writers from our Creative Aging Program ages 55 and up, developed in fiction, memoir, poetry, personal narrative and solo performance classes. This work invites us into the alchemy of being heard, where experience becomes language, language becomes connection, and connection becomes art.

Founded and directed by New York–based choreographer Andrea Miller, GALLIM is known for its visceral physicality, emotional intensity, and cinematic sensibility. Blending fierce athleticism with theatrical storytelling, the company creates immersive contemporary dance works that feel at once raw, immediate, and deeply human.
