Hillyer Art Space

Ashley White will discuss the meaning and inspiration behind her exhibition, Water, Fiber, Form: Stories of Black Hair, which explores material, memory, and identity through various art forms.

On every third Thursday of the month, Hillyer is open for extended hours between 5 and 8 p.m. During this time, visitors can view our current exhibitions and/or participate in public programs and events.

Our featured solo artist, Tara Youngborg, will lead a digital sound workshop with a beginner-friendly coding language. In this workshop, you will be able to create a web page that can turn information from your computer or phone input into sounds, turning your device and the information it collects from your inputs into an instrument!
