Whiskey Wednesday with William Surly & the Barroom Gospel and Keston Brouillette & the Pickled Hearts

Wednesday, August 19, 20268:30 PM
William Surly is a singer/songwriter who mixes classic country with outlaw, honky tonk, a dash of folk, some rock, soul and a whole lot of tequila. Inspired by story tellers of the Outlaw and Folk movements of the 60s and 70s, Surly pays homage to the ones who came before him, singing songs for those best suited for a long running bar tab.

Whitney
Aug 14·6:30 PM

How Long Jug Band
Aug 14·7:00 PM

Inspired by the classic jug bands of the 1920's and 30's, the How Long Jug Band blends kazoos, washboards and jugs seamlessly with conventional guitars, mandolins and banjos. They mostly draw from early blues, ragtime and jazz, digging into obscure songs to find lyrics and arrangements that are too good to be forgotten.
