Volunteer Opportunity: Invasive Management

The City of Pawtucket is pleased to announce dedicated walk-in hours for the Department of Commerce, Planning, and Redevelopment, designed to enhance efficiency, provide predictable service, and improve overall accessibility for residents.

Join us as we work to control invasive Japanese knotweed and protect the garden’s collections and native biodiversity. Volunteers will cut stalks close to the ground, and a designated applicator will treat the cut stems with herbicide.
