Pursue one of Acadia’s most iconic summits for surrounding views of everything that makes the park famous while learning about the history of the area’s rusticators and founders of Acadia.

The sunrise orientation features a brief overview of the summit area, important rules for visiting the park, and the cultural significance of this sacred place. The orientation talk may be followed by an ʻoli, or Hawaiian chant, to welcome the rising sun and the beginning of a new day.
