Join the Raclin Murphy Museum of Art for an evening with Dr. Daisy Fancourt, researcher, professor at University College London, and author of Art Cure: The Science of How the Arts Save Lives. An internationally recognized leader in the growing field of arts and health, Dr. Fancourt studies how music, visual art, dance, theater, and museum engagement can reduce stress, improve well-being, strengthen social connections, and support healing.

Visio Divina, or “sacred seeing,” is an ancient form of Christian prayer in which we allow our hearts and imaginations to prayerfully and meditatively enter into an image. Join us for guided sessions of visio divina with sacred art in the Mary, Queen of Families Chapel or with works of art in the galleries.
