Truckee Community Block Party

We will gather together to celebrate what God is doing in the life of this church, pray together and prepare for another year of service for the glory of the Lord. All are welcome to attend, but only members will be asked to vote.

Truckee Thursdays is a feel-good event that beckons the community to enjoy some exuberant downtown summertime energy. Offering a stage with live music; a food court with an eclectic selection of eats; children's activities; a beer garden; and a wide variety of artisan vendors, it's no wonder this lively weekly event is on both locals' and visitors' must-do list.

University of Nevada, Reno biologist Matt Forister presents the lost species concept as a new perspective on conservation and the changing natural world, addressing the challenge of knowing how many species are extinct and how many are waiting to be rediscovered.
