The Victors

Tuesday, May 26, 20267:30 PM
The award-winning screenwriter of The Bridge on the River Kwai and The Guns of Navarone, Carl Foreman, wrote, directed, and produced the sprawling, all-star World War II epic The Victors. The film follows a large ensemble of battle-weary American infantry soldiers in a series of vignettes, from fighting in Italy to uneasy peace in Berlin, interspersed with newsreel-type propaganda from back home that contradicts their grim reality.
