Le Samouraï (lit. 'The Samurai') is a 1967 neo-noir crime thriller film written and directed by Jean-Pierre Melville and starring Alain Delon. The Franco-Italian production depicts the intersecting paths of a professional hitman trying to find out who hired him for a job and then tried to have him killed, and the Parisian commissaire trying to catch him.
With the help of The Ramones, a group of rock-music-loving students take over their high school in an effort to combat its newly installed oppressive administration. P.J. Soles stars with Vince Van Patten, Clint Howard, Dey Young, Mary Woronov, Paul Bartel, Dick Miller, and The Ramones.
