This project is an intergenerational collaboration between Maggie Thompson (Fond du Lac Ojibwe) and her mother, Peggy Thompson. Their work brings together weaving, painting and shared observation of land, exploring how Ojibwe floral design and painterly depictions of ground interpret the same environment.

The Race to Renewables exhibit invites visitors to experiment with hands-on demonstrations of energy-saving technologies that can help save money and the planet. New this year: celebrate the unveiling of our Eco House, a tiny, off grid, all-electric home on wheels custom-built to model sustainable living at any scale.
