Students will learn the foundations of metalpoint, with a focus on silverpoint, while gaining practical experience with the tools, materials, and techniques used to create these distinctive drawings. Through demonstrations and guided exercises, participants will explore mark-making, line quality, and the unique characteristics of drawing with metal on prepared surfaces.
