About The National Arts Club
Founded in 1898 by Charles De Kay, the literary and art critic for The New York Times, this club was conceived as a gathering place for artists and art-lovers across all disciplines. It notably admitted women on a full and equal basis from its inception, a progressive stance for its time. The club is housed in the historic Samuel Tilden Mansion, a New York City Landmark that has also served as a filming location for productions like *The Age of Innocence* and *The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel*.story

An in-depth conversation between the artist Tuan Andrew Nguyen and Cecilia Alemani, focusing on Nguyen’s practice, the inspiration for his Plinth commission, and the sculpture’s symbolic rebirth, followed by a guided meditation focused on transformation.
Artists will participate in a Q & A about the All Day Long exhibition including Jack Arthur Wood whose sublime installation currently graces our entrance way.
