Our next sensory-friendly show is Choo Choo Revue on August 1st. All aboard Choo Choo Revue! In the first new show from BBMT in 40 years, your theater seat becomes a train bound for fantasy! A monumental milestone for BBMT and celebration of community and joy, Choo Choo Revue inspires IMAGINATION for all. Through the train window of BBMT’s stage, travel across rolling hills, mountainous peaks, and dazzling deserts. Meet dancing luggage, singing mushrooms, and a cicada jugband. This hour-long show, packed with over 100 handcrafted, BRAND NEW puppets, is presented with theatric grandeur and spectacular artistic skill.We want our theater to be an accessible space for all of our patrons. We’re offering a sensory-friendly performance of Choo Choo Revue on Saturday, August 1st, at 10:30 AM, for guests who would prefer a show environment that includes modifications such as:Reduced lighting changesReduced volume Designated seating options for limited puppet interactions (left-hand side)Guests are free to talk during the showDesignated rest and quiet space in the lobby available during the show When selecting your seats, please note the difference between seat types: The MAGENTA seats are chair seats where puppets might interact with or touch you.The GREEN seats are floor seats where puppets might interact with or touch you.The BLUE seats on the left side of the stage are floor seats where puppets will not touch you.The ORANGE seats on the left side of the stage are chair seats where the puppets will not touch you.The LIGHT PINK seats are seats in our Puppet Parlor. These seats are behind a barrier and are not recommended for children or those who might have difficulty seeing above a 3-foot-tall railing. These seats are movable and may be more comfortable for guests who need to move during the show, who need frequent bathroom breaks, or who want extra space for a mobility device. There are also two designated WHEELCHAIR SPACES (without chairs) on the floor next to the left and right sections.Children ages 2 and under who will be sitting on a lap are FREE and do not need their own ticket!All guests must be at least 16 years of age or have a parent or guardian present. If you have questions about our sensory-friendly show, please email us at hello@bobbakermarionettetheater.com!
