For more than 50 years, Richard Tuttle has been loosening the boundaries between painting, poetry, and sculpture to realize an eccentric body of materially light, conceptually rich work. This exhibition presents two recent series, the planar 18 × 24 (2022–23) and the scattered Untitled (2025).

Fridman Gallery is proud to present our summer group exhibition, in collaboration with Catharine Clark Gallery. Double Bind: Belonging and Its Discontents examines how artists negotiate the conditions under which belonging is granted, withheld, or made precarious.

The Oyster

A monumental outdoor sculptural installation by acclaimed Mohawk artist Alan Michelson, on view on Governors Island from July through November 2026. The installation reflects on the parallel erasures of Indigenous lifeways and oyster ecologies in the harbor, while pointing toward the possibility of their restoration and return.

Jeff Koons has partnered with Avant Arte to create two limited editions that reimagine his monumental flowering sculpture Split-Rocker (2000). The remaining editions will launch in July 2026.
