Join LASM Assistant Curator and Museum Preparator Beth Welch for a creative afternoon where participants will paint their own Louisiana landscapes while exploring the beauty, color, and spirit of the Cajun countryside.

Join Louisiana Master Naturalist, Xerces Society Volunteer Ambassador, and Wild Ones Pontchartrain Basin founding board member Teri Gegenheimer as she explores the fascinating ways insects overwinter and how gardeners can create beautiful landscapes that support them. Teri Gegenheimer became a Louisiana Master Naturalist in 2018 and has served as a Volunteer Ambassador for the Xerces Society since 2023.

Lectio Divina is a contemplative way of reading scripture that invites us to listen for God’s voice through reflection, prayer, and rest in God’s presence. This discussion-based small group offers an after hours bible study.
