Nipple Molding Sessions with Misha Japanwala

Saturday, October 10, 202611:00 AM
Japanwala will hold regular molding sessions at the gallery during the exhibition’s run, inviting muses to commission a custom nipple cast for themselves and to contribute an additional cast to a growing archive of shamelessness. The culminating nipple cast installation in this exhibition stands as a tribute to Zahra and her fierce advocacy to destigmatize conversations around breast cancer and the body.

In the Sunroom exhibition Jump, the artist focuses on the core obstacle in dog agility courses— “jumps” — which serve to build athleticism and confidence in the dog, and a bond of trust between the dog and handler. Incorporating sculptural forms that evoke jumps alongside a video projection, the exhibition reflects on memories of Park’s prior relationship with a living pet while giving form to sentience, vulnerability, care, and failure.
