MoonFest is Green-Wood’s new after-hours celebration of humanity’s enduring fascination with the moon, drawing inspiration from permanent resident John Draper who made one of the earliest photographs of the moon.

Founded in 1838, this National Historic Landmark was once the nation's second-greatest tourist attraction after Niagara Falls, drawing crowds for family outings and sculpture viewing. It's home to 580,000 permanent residents, including Leonard Bernstein and Jean-Michel Basquiat.story
