Timothy Brookes is a retired attorney in East Liverpool, OH, having been admitted to the bar in 1979. An East Liverpool native, Brookes has had a life-long (at least since age 5) interest in the Civil War. The focus individual for Brookes’ talk will be Jacob Shenkel, an East Liverpool man who joined the Pennsylvania 62nd Infantry.
