One of NYC’s last remaining lesbian bars, Cubbyhole was originally opened in 1987 as DT’s Fat Cat by Tanya Saunders and Debbie Fierro, and is now owned by longtime bartender Lisa Menichino. The ceiling is always completely covered in seasonally appropriate decorations.story
