Mentoring Up in STEM: Strengthening Relationships with PIs, Advisors, and Senior Colleagues

This interactive workshop introduces practical, evidence-based strategies for “mentoring up” — engaging proactively and constructively with mentors, advisors, PIs, and other senior colleagues. Drawing on research and curricula from the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER), participants will learn to navigate academic environments, clarify expectations, and advocate for their needs.
