MAMMA MIA! by Port Huron Civic Theatre

ABBA's hits tell the hilarious story of a young woman's search for her birth father. This sunny and funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise, featuring a large cast, non-stop laughs and explosive dance numbers.

In this poignantly silly adventure tale for families from The Gottabees, Sylvie is sent to the backyard to hang up the laundry. The moment her back is turned, a mischievous squirrel steals her favorite piece of clothing and runs off. The Gottabees are a Boston-based ensemble dedicated to creating inspirational, engaging, and empowering theater for family audiences.

FAAC members will enjoy an exclusive performance by Sreyashi Dey, one of the foremost exponents of India’s Odissi dance in the US. Dey will perform her original dance-theater work Hidimba, which brings together classical Odissi movements, elements of Seraikella Chau dance, and vachika abhinaya (spoken word) to explore the life of Hidimba, one of the lesser-known characters of the Mahabharata epic.
