Christopher Guest reunited the team from Best in Show and Waiting for Guffman to tell the story of ’60s-era folk musicians who, inspired by the death of their former manager, get back on the stage for one concert in New York City’s Town Hall. This uniquely touching comedy features an ensemble cast including Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer.

Christopher Guest’s uproarious mockumentary, Guest assembles a mix of returning collaborators and future ensemble regulars for a hilarious and sharply observed “dogumentary” set at the prestigious Mayflower Kennel Club Dog Show. Largely improvised in Guest’s signature style, the film is both an affectionate send-up of competitive dog culture and one of the great ensemble comedies of its era.

Join us September 18–20, 2026 as we celebrate six incredible years of storytelling, community, and creativity at the historic Klein Memorial Auditorium. Led by Bridgeport Native and Artistic Director Jason A. Coombs, the festival aims to highlight the diversity of the film community in Bridgeport and the surrounding regions by showcasing films directed by over 50% women and POC filmmakers.
