The University of Georgia has one of the strongest collegiate football programs in the country with their Georgia Bulldogs football program. The team plays in the Football Bowl Subdivision of the NCAA and play their games in beautiful and historic Sanford Stadium on their Athens, Georgia campus.

This marks only the second all-time meeting between these powerhouse programs, following their epic 54-48 Rose Bowl clash on January 1, 2018. The back-to-back national champion Bulldogs (2021, 2022) are hosting the 7-time national champion Sooners in their new SEC home.
