About Will Rogers State Historic Park
The Pacific Palisades ranch, including its mansion and horse stable, was once the home of 1930s columnist, "cowboy philosopher," radio personality, and movie star Will Rogers. His widow, Betty, donated the 359-acre property to California State Parks in 1944, preserving his legacy. It's also home to the last grass, public, outdoor polo field in Los Angeles County.story
