Point Dume State Beach and Natural Preserve

Join us every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 10 a.m. at the front of the visitor lodge for a volunteer- or staff-led nature hike! Topics may include native plants and animals, geologic formations, the history of the reserve, and whatever we discover along the trail.

Point Dume State Beach and Natural Preserve

This natural preserve is part of a network of Marine Protected Areas, offering a unique opportunity to witness California gray whales during their migration. Visitors can explore ancient coastal bluff sand dunes and enjoy panoramic views of the Santa Monica Bay and Catalina Island.story
