On the last Friday of every month, a visual description tour explores a select gallery space with a museum educator. This 30-minute verbal overview is crafted for visitors who are blind or low vision.

In-depth, guided tours of the exhibition will focus on the artists, materials, techniques and styles in contemporary Japanese bamboo arts. Meher McArthur, Japanese art historian and former Curator of East Asian Art at Pacific Asia Museum, Pasadena, will lend her expertise as your guide.
