Pianist Benny Green will be performing in the Hayes Concert Hall at the UTC Fine Arts Center. While Green performs solo and with his own trio in recent years, he has toured and performed with numerous jazz greats, including Betty Carter, Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers, and the Freddie Hubbard Quintet.
Live music on the lower deck starts this Thursday and will continue on Thursdays through summer!
Settle into your Thursday night groove with Scenic City Soul Night, a weekly series at The Woodshop led by Chattanooga’s own Bryant “Bass Hitter” Russell and his band, Bass Hitter & The Prophets. Inspired by ’70s Motown, jazz, and smooth soul, this funky, rotating ensemble features guest vocalists each week and delivers a sensual, cozy soundtrack perfect for unwinding or date night.
