First Tastes: A New Play Reading Series

Join us on August 16th for an unforgettable afternoon as the Zerbini Family Circus comes to Colloca Estate Winery! Enjoy thrilling performances, family friendly entertainment and the beautiful vineyard setting for a one of a kind experience.

First Tastes is a new play reading series paired with culinary test kitchen samplings, occurring most third Thursdays in 2026. Each evening of theatre places newly devised works into the hands of our local community actors, and invites the public to read along, take “tasting notes”, and engage in direct discussion with the playwrights and culinary artists.

Flashing probe lights, loud gunfire, theatrical haze, herbal cigarette smoke and authentic, profane Jersey vocabulary are special effects used in this production.
