Elle Reck’s newest play follows two roommates, Muriel Monday and Misty, who become convinced their next-door neighbor is a witch. Their obsession spirals out of control leading them down a path of Hollywood hunger and sexual deviancy.
The night before the towers fall, a gay photographer places a roommate ad. Miles Heizer (Boots) leads as Eric, with original cast member Michael Urie returning to direct 25 years later.
Our production reimagines The Taming of the Shrew not as a dated farce, but as a 21st-century interrogation of the human psyche. By viewing the play’s infamous power dynamics through the lens of Coercion vs. Consent, we force a confrontation with the uncomfortable truths of modern relationships.
