Dr. Reed Timmer is an extreme meteorologist and renowned storm chaser with a PhD in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma, known for intercepting some of the world’s most powerful storms to collect scientific data. He invented the armored “Dominator” storm-chasing vehicles to gather data from inside severe storms and has pioneered advanced sensor deployment methods using probes, drones, balloons, and rockets.
