David Lamelas: Time

Conceptualized in 1970 as a contribution for a seminar at Les Arcs in the French Alps, David Lamelas’s Time articulates time visible at multiple levels: as a site, as information, and as an activity. In this work, time becomes both spatialized and durational through the performance of “passing” time down a line of participants.
