Brooklyn Navy Yard: Past, Present & Future

Join Frank Morrison for the final weekend of his Brooklyn Artist Residency to experience a powerful new body of work inspired by Mannerism and Cubism. These original works on paper celebrate imagination, identity, and the brilliance of our urban communities through Frank Morrison’s distinctive visual language.

This exhibition presents the final work of Uruguayan artist Ulises Beisso from the mid-1990s, exploring the visibility and vulnerability of the body between public and private space. The work was created after a decisive trip to New York.

This exhibition brings together the wildlife photography of Harry Martin and the realist paintings of Michael Scowden, two artists united by close observation and a strong command of their mediums.
