The evening will feature a reading by writer and critic Lawrence Burney from his debut essay collection No Sense In Wishing as well as a special preview screening of Revisiting Ramona, his in-progress documentary. Told through the lens of photographer Ellis Marsalis III’s book Tha Bloc, the film is a cinematic portrait of a Baltimore community’s past, present, and future.
