Urban Bike Tours of Bridgeport aims to use the bicycle as a means to connect the dots of Bridgeport’s flavor, history, and architecture, highlighting local artists’ adaptive re-use and repurposing of historic buildings. The tour explores the long-vacant, exquisite, and historic Palace and Majestic Theaters, discovering amazing creators of new works in old buildings, all while meandering through historic and ethnic neighborhoods on bikes.

Tours of the Marian Anderson Studio are included with our Historic Buildings tours, Friday and Saturday at 12. The studio was designed by architect Orpheus Fisher for his wife, Marian Anderson, as a private place where she could sing and rehearse.
