Join us to celebrate the closing weekend of Beyond Boundaries: Black Abstraction in the Elliot and Kimberly Perry Art Collection with a panel discussion featuring artists from the exhibition. Panelists include Gozié Ojini, Kiah Celeste, and Desmond Lewis.

Tenera Manus (Latin for “tender hand”) centers on repetitive, care-intensive processes such as sewing, quilting, tufting, and diamond painting. Each artist uses slow, methodical techniques to transform familiar materials and images into contemporary reflections on memory, technology, and transformation.

The latest exhibition in The Galleries at the Cabarrus Arts Council is a can’t-miss quilt exhibit that’s on display from now until October 10.
