Serpentine will present a major solo exhibition of New Delhi based artist and filmmaker Amar Kanwar. For over two decades, Kanwar has developed a distinctive body of lyrical films that move between documentary, travelogue and visual essay to explore the specific conditions or the Indian subcontinent.

The Oyster

A monumental outdoor sculptural installation by acclaimed Mohawk artist Alan Michelson, on view on Governors Island from July through November 2026. The installation reflects on the parallel erasures of Indigenous lifeways and oyster ecologies in the harbor, while pointing toward the possibility of their restoration and return.

Jeff Koons has partnered with Avant Arte to create two limited editions that reimagine his monumental flowering sculpture Split-Rocker (2000). The remaining editions will launch in July 2026.
