In celebration of July 25—Day of Afro-Latina, Afro-Caribbean, and Diaspora Women—the Afro-Latino Festival presents an intimate evening with acclaimed Afro-Peruvian poet, songwriter, activist, and writer Mónica Carrillo Zegarra. Marking the release of her new album, this live performance weaves poetry, song, and ancestral memory into a powerful ritual of voice and resistance.
