Tony Fitzpatrick's works were deeply inspired by a wide variety of visual sources: among them Chicago street culture, cities where he traveled, children's books, tattoo designs, and folk art. His shards of visual imagery form compositions that suggest elaborated, almost Victorian scrapbooking.
