Through the visitation of three ghosts – Christmas Past, Present, and Future, Scrooge realizes that his greedy, selfish behavior has alienated and hurt everyone around him, and resolves to change his ways. He awakes on Christmas morning renewed with the spirit of Christmas – generosity, kindness, community, and love.
